Entirely handmade, this teapot is one of a kind. Body, lid, and spout were wheel-thrown while the handle was pulled. The tapered spout and a small hole in the tight fitting lid allow for smooth pouring.
The exterior is glazed in a rich cinnabar colour, evoking feelings of warmth and comfort. The interior is glazed in a cool celadon that reveals the natural clay colour beneath.
